HOW OUR COINS ARE MADE.  

Every HonestCoinsLI coin starts as a hand-sketched design and ends as a finely-detailed die-struck coin ready to be handed to someone who earned it. Our process:

  1. Design. Send us your idea — a sketch, a photo of an old coin, a department seal. Our artists render a fully digital proof within 48 hours.
  2. Revise. Adjust colors, size, thickness, plating, edges, cutouts. Free unlimited revisions until you approve every detail.
  3. Sculpt. A 3D master is sculpted for both sides. This is what gives coins that heirloom-quality relief.
  4. Strike. Coins are die-struck from solid metal blanks — brass, copper, or zinc alloy depending on your finish.
  5. Plate & enamel. Hand-plated in your chosen finish. Enamel colors are hand-filled by trained craftsmen.
  6. QC & ship. We inspect every coin before packaging. Free shipping, 50 states.
